In recent months, we have seen Trump's imperialism in full force, with the disgraceful abduction of Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro and the collective punishment of the Cuban people. It is critical that we build a global opposition to this blatant destruction of international law and respect for sovereign governance.
Our conference will hear from speakers with extensive knowledge of Latin American politics and the situation on the ground in Venezuela and Cuba. These invaluable contributions will shape discussions and debates on how we can counter the dangerous imperialism of Trump and weakling response from the British government.
